Aishwarya Bandla is Clinical Innovation Manager at Paxman Coolers Ltd, where she leads the development of a wearable limb cryocompression device to prevent chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and maintains joint appointments as Adjunct Principal Research Fellow and Principal Investigator at the N.1 Institute for Health, NUS, the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM), and the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS). Her research spans human-centric digital health, wearable technology for cancer care, and neurotechnology.
An IEEE Senior Member, Aishwarya chairs the IEEE TEMS Students & Young Professionals Committee and serves as Member Initiative Lead on the IEEE MGA Student Activities Committee. She also contributes to Ad Hoc Committees of the IEEE Board and IEEE Technical Activities Board for Students & Young Professionals Advancement. Her contributions have been recognised with several prestigious honours, including the 2025 IEEE Theodore W. Hissey Outstanding Young Professional Award, the 2024 MASCC Innovator Award, the 2023 NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award, and the 2023 IEEE MGA Young Professional Achievement Award. She has further been named among Asia's Top 50 Women Tech Leaders (2024) and Singapore's 100 Women in Tech (2020).
