Dr. Amy Pinchuk is the Founder and President of InField Scientific Inc., a role she has held since establishing the firm in 1994. Following InField’s acquisition by Calian Ltd in 2025, she continues tolead the organizationas President, bringing over three decades of executive experience and technical expertise to the industry. InField's primary focus has been Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3, EMC, EMI) analysis, simulations and testing of military shipboard environments for the Royal Canadian Navy and for the New Zealand Royal Navy. Amy has also taught a Software Engineering course at McGill University. She received her Ph. D. (1988), M. Eng. (1985) and B. Eng. (1983) from McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Peter Silvester. She was a visiting scholar at Cambridge University in England (1985). Dr. Pinchuk was the IEEE Montreal Section Chair, Montreal EMC Society Chapter Chair, and a member of the IEEE EMC Society Board of Directors. She is also the author of several children's books which focus on engineering for youngsters.
