Professor, Department of Computer Science, Collège de Maisonneuve Associate Professor, Polytechnique Montréal Founder and Director, LRIMa (Maisonneuve Computer Science Research Laboratory) Co-Founder, ALIVEcode and Phonia
Prof. Jihene Rezgui is a researcher in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies with more than 15 years of experience mentoring the next generation of innovators. She has authored over 70 scientific publications.
She is the founder and director of LRIMa, a research laboratory with an unusual model: her researchers are college students aged 17 to 19, and they publish at international IEEE conferences. Her lab combines AI, connected systems, and technological entrepreneurship, with applications in smart agriculture, education, and healthcare.
She is also the co-founder of two startups, built together with her former students: ALIVEcode, an EdTech company offering an active learning platform, and Phonia, a healthtech company specializing in speech analysis.
Deeply committed to diversity and inclusion in STEM, she works to reach young women at the age when they decide whether science belongs to them.
